Beacon Ranch, a recently established non profit corporation, held its inaugural event Saturday, Oct. 27.  The mission of Beacon Ranch is to foster community relationships and enhance education through agricultural and environmental experiences. Its operation is made sustainable through donations, volunteers, and the sale of goods produced from the farm.  The “Fall Round Up” was a big success despite the cold windy weather. More than 100 people participated in the free food and games available.  Between the pumpkin decorating, face painting, cotton candy, hay ride, petting zoo, and other activities, the kids really seemed to enjoy the event.
